Product Description
Our brown treated featheredge is primarily sold as a fencing material, offering a traditional solution to erect closeboard fencing to any boundary.
The boards are cut digonally from a single 22mm x 125mm board, producing 2ex boards per piece.
With a 25mm (1") overlap per board, these feather edge boards cover 100mm (4"), allowing easy calculation of required boards: 10 slats per linear meter of fencing.
The pressure treatment in this timber is brown, matching the rest of our loose closeboard fencing material to help protect against insect and fungal attack.
As with any product with a solution applied, we would strongly recommend re-applying a treatment solution of your choice at regular intervals to ensure maximum lifespan. In the same vein, any cut ends should be re-treated to seal the exposed timber.
