Product Description
This Anthracite imperial 6ft long concrete gravel board has a solid face and is perfect for raising your panels either 12in off the ground, helping to prevent rot caused by ground level moisture.
PLEASE NOTE: This gravel board is a true imperial 6ft, designed to suit a traditional 6ft fence panel. Please double check your panel width and post spacings before purchasing to ensure a perfect fit.
From the manufacturer:
As a specialist precast concrete fence post manufacturer, our products are all designed and manufactured in accordance with British Standards. We use concrete with a minimum strength of 50 n/mm2 which allows us to offer a design life of 50 years. The slotted post design is ideal for use with timber fence panels and is widely used both in new build housing and in home improvements.
Wet concrete is poured into rubber lined moulds to create the slots – this provides the product with a smooth mould finish on 3 sides of the product with one hand finished side. This is in contrast to some manufacturers who use semi dry concrete with extreme vibration to compact the concrete leaving a rough finish all round. Our process uses the latest technique with no vibration required to create a fine finish to the mould faces.
